Life Update 02.18.2020
So, I’ve been MIA for a year. Honestly, I have posts saved but I haven’t finished writing them. 2019 has been a whirlwind of events.
First and foremost, I graduated college!
I still will like to continue my education, but not at the moment. I finished school with an Associate of Arts, specializing in English. I want to get my Bachelor’s but first, I have to upgrade my math skills to get into my desired university. Eventually, I want to be able to go to either Stanford or UC Berkeley. That’s a story for another time...when it actually happens! HAHAHA

Second, I have been slowly pursuing the things I love. I was part of the Evergreen Cultural Centre’s performance of Cinderellas. I was so surprised when I was casted as one of the Cinderellas.
It was most definitely an amazing experience. I was expecting to be a part of the ensemble and not even get any speaking roles. I just wanted to get a feel of the theatre but who would have thought I will get two lead roles. It was stressful because it was the first time I’ve done something like this and it was exhilarating.
I learned how to control my nerves before going on stage and used that energy to push me through the performance. It was nerve wracking because I had a hard time acting and reciting even when it’s an empty theatre. For someone who likes to talk, I’m a really shy person so this was a BIG step out of my comfort zone.

I’m still behind on my reading list (shocker...). I still have about five books on my shelf that I need to read. So hopefully, I get to finish them all this year. I also started to write again! It’s not much but it’s a start. It really does take me awhile to get on with it.
